The purpose of the media ministry at Watts Chapel is to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world through multimedia. Our ministry enhances the worship experience through audio, graphic and video production that is consistent with the mission, vision and core values of the church.
Romans 10: 14, 17
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
There are several volunteer opportunities for you to serve within the Media Ministry.
Opportunities to serve:
Video Director – Oversee all Image Magnification shots, live switching, streaming and service video recording.
Video Camera Operators – Composes creative camera shots during worship and acts as the eyes of the director.
Sound Technician – Sound Technician's job is to oversee the sound board and mixers for all microphones, speakers, and other audio functions.
Recording Technician – Responsible for recording worship celebration and events during the week.
Stage Director – Coordinate and facilitate communicate between pastor, ministers, choir and band members during our worship services.
Graphic Presenter – Responsible for all graphics and information projected on the projection screens.
Duplication Technician – Responsible for production and cataloging of Master CDs, DVDs, and/or mini-discs, burning CDs and providing quality reference copies to the healing and recovery and communications ministry for mass duplication
Video Editing – Capture, edit, and finalize a promotional video. Edit and export an entire sermon to our podcast. Edit, export, compress, and uploaded clips to youtube.
