Join the Seniors' Ministry (GEMS) for a trip to the Barn Dinner Theater to see "The Black Nativity" on Tuesday, December 11. The price is $50/person. Buffet meal included. The African American History Awareness Ministry is sponsoring a non-partisan 2018 voter information social on Saturday, October 20 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Election information and handouts related to candidates running for office in and around the Triangle, early voting schedules, state constitutional amendments, voting rights criteria, and more will be provided. Light refreshments will be served and an hourly “My People Vote” t-shirt raffle will be held.  Click here to register. 



Join the Women of Watts (WOW) on Sunday, November 11 at 3:30 PM at Wine & Design Cary for an afternoon of painting and sisterly fellowship.  This event is open to mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends of WOW.  The cost for the event is $35, which covers the use of an easel, paint, brushes, apron, and your work of art.  The Ministry will provide  refreshments. Are you dreaming about starting your own small business?  Would you like to receive some ideas to help you grow your existing business?  Are you interested in networking with fellow entrepreneurs?  If so, we want to help you!  Join the Human Resources Ministry on Saturday, November 3, from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room for our Small Business Luncheon/Seminar.  If you have questions you want answered at the luncheon/seminar, please submit them when you register. There is no cost to attend; however, registration IS required.  The registration deadline is Thursday, November 1. Click here to register.


Every second Saturday, immediately after the F.B. Weaver Choir Rehearsal, Middle & High School students will meet here at Watts Chapel on Saturday afternoon Together (SAT) - a time for Bible Study and Fellowship. Click here to register. 


The WOMEN OF WATTS need you! Come help us serve the community by packing and serving lunches for the homeless and hungry with Brown Bag Ministry. On the first Saturday of every month, we will meet at the Brown Bag Ministry location at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road in Apex, NC 27502 at 9:30 a.m. St. Andrew’s is located near the Cary Auto Park. After packing the lunches, we will help distribute them at the Oak City Outreach Center located at 215 South Person Street, Raleigh, NC. Click here to register.


Watts Chapel family members who are providing care to sick and loved ones need our support and prayers.  Many caregivers feel isolated and forgotten by their church families. Care Buddies are needed to call and visit Watts' caregivers and help them find community resources.  Volunteers will receive training from AARP (need not be an AARP member).  If you are interested in providing prayer, compassion, and moral support; or if you are in need of prayer, compassion, and moral support; or need research on available county and state resources please click here to complete a brief form.
